Since 2025, Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering has been actively pursuing inclusion in leading international bibliographic databases, particularly the Web of Science (Emerging Sources Citation Index, ESCI) and Scopus. The journal is currently undergoing the formal evaluation processes required for indexation.

All articles published during the evaluation period — from January 2025 through the end of 2026 — are intended to be retrospectively indexed in the Web of Science database, contingent upon the successful completion of the evaluation process. Following positive acceptance, articles will be backdated in the indexing system, with full integration into citation metrics, including recalculations of cited references, H-index, and citation counts.

The editorial team is fully committed to maintaining the highest academic standards, peer-review integrity, and publishing ethics, ensuring compliance with the strict criteria established by Clarivate Analytics (Web of Science) and Elsevier (Scopus) for journal evaluation and ongoing indexation.
